The realistic eye patterns in our Special series are copied from those of real exotic birds. They will become a perfect option for your next taxidermy mount. Our Common Cuckoo adult eye is one of over 200 great models in our extensive range of Special eyes. The eye has a small round pupil with uneven edge and a chatoyant iris, blending from brown and orange areas into the intense yellow base color. The eye is cast from polyether resins (similar to acrylic). We use our own patented technology that ensures hardness, chemical stability, and heat resistance. Our eyes can be dry-cleaned, treated with most organic solvents, and heated to 130 degrees Celsius (about 260 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 20 minutes.
