Each of our Special bird eyes for taxidermy is made with the utmost level of definition. The realistic eye designs, copied from the photos of real, would be a good option for your new taxidermy creation. The Northern Hawk Owl eye is one of over 200 fascinating reproductions in our extensive Special bird line. The eye has a medium black pupil with a fuzzy edging and a solid dark yellow iris. Our eyes are cast from polymer resins (similar to acrylic) using our own patented technology that ensures hardness, chemical stability, and heat resistance. The eyes can be dry-cleaned, treated with most organic solvents, and heated to 130 degrees Celsius (about 260 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 20 minutes.
