If you want to find the ultimate pike eye for your next mount, we think we have something to offer. Our Pike 3 model was created with input from the leading taxidermists and will be suitable for any commercial and competition mounts. The eye has an accurate drop-shaped black pupil, surrounded by a narrow white ring and a modulating iris, blending from light blue into black at the edge.
Our eyes are made from polymer materials. We use our own patented technology that gives them extreme hardness, chemical stability, and heat resistance. The eyes can be dry-cleaned, treated with organic solvents, and heated to 130 degrees Celsius (about 260 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 20 minutes. The iris and pupil are digitally printed, which allows us to create very complex images. The image is refracted by the strong lens in a special way, creating the unique effect of a real eye.
On the back side of the eye, there is a ribbed plastic peg that helps position and set the eye on a mold. It can be easily removed if not needed.
