Amazona viridigenalis
Our bird eyes are made with the ultimate definition. The detailed eye designs taken from those of real birds will be a good option for your new taxidermy mount. The Red-crowned Amazon eye, inspired by taxidermy experts, is one of over 300 stars in our extensive Birds series. The eye features a large black pupil, outlined with a dark skirting, and a modulating iris, blending from yellow and orange into red towards the edge. The iris and pupil are digitally printed, which allows us to produce very complex images. On the back side of the eye, there is a ribbed plastic peg that helps position and set the eye on a mold. It can be easily removed if not needed.
