Do you need a perfect version of the smallmouth bass eye? The Smallmouth Bass 7 model was designed based on feedback from leading taxidermists and is an excellent option for both commercial and competition mounts. The eye features a drop-shaped dark pupil, outlined with a wide beige skirt, and a complex multicolored iris, which is a combination of orange, red, olive and brown shades, creating truly spectacular look. The eyes are made from polymer materials using our own patented technology that gives them hardness, chemical stability, and heat resistance. The eyes can be dry-cleaned, treated with organic solvents, and heated to 130 degrees Celsius (about 260 degrees Fahrenheit) for 20 minutes. The iris and pupil are digitally printed, which allows us to create very complex images. The image is refracted by the strong lens in a special way, creating the unique effect of a real eye. On the back side of the eye, there is a ribbed plastic peg that helps position and set the eye on a mold. It can be snapped off if not needed.
