Aythya ferina
The realistic eye designs in our Special bird series are copied from those of real birds. They could be an excellent choice for your next competition mount. The Common Pochard 2 model is one of over 200 perfect reproductions in our enhanced Special line. A well-defined round pupil of medium size and an intense orange iris in this eye create an absolutely astonishing look. The eyes are cast from polyether resins (similar to acrylic) using our own patented technology that ensures extreme hardness, chemical stability, and heat resistance. They can be dry-cleaned, treated with most organic solvents, and heated to 130 degrees Celsius (about 260 degrees Fahrenheit) for 20 minutes.
