The well-defined color patterns of our bird eyes for taxidermy are copied from photos of real birds. They would make a great option for your new taxidermy creations. The Great Black-back Gull model is one of many perfect reproductions in our comprehensive Birds / Special range. A small black pupil, embosomed with a blurred skirting, and a caramel iris with numerous brown speckles create an absolutely astonishing look. Our eyes are made from polymer resins (similar to acrylic). We use our own patented technology that ensures hardness, chemical stability, and heat resistance. The eyes can be dry-cleaned, treated with organic solvents, and heated to 130 degrees Celsius (about 260 degrees Fahrenheit) for 20 minutes.
